Where is Custom Biologicals, Inc located?
CustomBio is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, USA and ALL CustomBio liquid products are made in the USA.
How is the product packaged?
The products on www.BuyCustomBio.com are highly concentrated liquid products packaged in 50ml bottles (A little less than 2 ounces). This small package reduces package waste and shipping costs. It is also small enough to be allowed on airplanes.
What is the product strength?
The product strength is package specific. The 50 ml bottles are formulated at a 2.5 acre strength for farming. This package contains a minimum of 3 Billion units per ml, which totals 150 Billion units per bottle.
The bacteria units are endospores, a dormant form of the bacteria, like a seed, which rapidly germinate, grow and reproduce.
The fungi units are propagules.
What are propagules and why is that important?
A propagule in fungi is any part of the organism that can grow and reproduce. CustomBio liquid fungi products contain both spores and hyphae. The benefit of a liquid propagule product is that live hyphae grow faster so you see results more quickly! Powdered products are usually freeze dried, which kills a large portion (if not all) of the hyphae. Many powdered products are spores only.
What is the Shelf life of the product?
The shelf life of the bacillus bacteria and the trichoderma fungi are different.
The liquid bacillus bacteria are in dormant spore form and have 4% IPA as a preservative, so the shelf life is over 3 years.
The liquid trichoderma fungi product contains the live hyphae and the fungal spores. This is a fresh product with a shelf life of 3-6 months.
How can I Optimize the shelf life?
To optimize the shelf life keep the bottles in the refrigerator. If that is not possible, keep in a cool place. Avoid direct sunlight for storage. Avoid freezing (the package will be damaged)
What product does CustomBio recommend for traditional gardening?
